The letter from Jeffrey Weinberg of Water Row Books offers a notebook by Charles Crumb to Marvin Sackner. The covers and eight pages are reproduced as photocopied colored sheets. These depict obsessive dense, linear calligraphic markings as well as scattered cartoon-like head portraits. These 'secret writings' may have been decipherable to him, but they remain a mystery to those he left behind."
