This piece was published in Rampike Vol.6 No.1. curry includes 5 handwritten Haiku poems by Hood (collaged onto pages) written as varients in House of Cards, Runaway Spoon & form the basis for curry's critical text. In a letter to the Sackners, curry notes that Jirgins (editor Rampike) "fucked it up by typesetting all the poems (including the bp Single letter translation!)(i'd provided him with a photocopy of bp's drawn version), rendering my discussion of Hood's handwriting superfluous..." -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

This is a piece that was published in What No.2 1985 as an intoduction to works by Swede. curry makes the point that Swede is known as a Haiku poet as well as a writer of children's books. This is the first maquette for a manuscript of collages made from colored photographs that curry continues to edit. curry noted in a letter to the Sackners that many of the pieces in this copy will not be included in the final version. Some of the pic have been published but many have not. This copy was made for David UU who wanted to see the entire series.
