This catalogue was published in three editions, 40 copies with signed original prints, and five copies with signed photographic documentation by Thomas Gunther along with a signed print by Zylla. This copy was one of the latter series. The first sectionof this catalogue depicts colored photographic reproductions of gouaches by Zylla that illustrate books written by Thomas Bernhard. The event that was documented by this catalogue was organized by Ric Gadella and Florence Loewy. The catalogue included an annotated listing of the illustrated books by Henri Matisse and offerings by commercial art galleries and bookshops. Clive Phillpot wrote "Booktrek: The Next Frontier," in which he described the influence of the paperback book on artists books.
