Twenty copies of the examples de tete were bound by Knoderer - the Sackner Archive copy is one of these copies. The illustrations by Pageris are semi-realistic, line drawings with a background of black watercolored abstract markings. The bookbinding has sample strips of tooled and painted leather laid into a bimorphic shape whose silhouette has features resembling the side of the human face. The text is written and drawn with colorful design elements. It reads, "Mange avec les doights. Bois avec le nez." The front cover is stamped with the words "nez" and includes a relief of a cardboard collaged nose. The rear cover is stamped with words "bouche" and contains a relief of cardboard collaged lips. The booklet was designed using drawings made by Pagiras to form the word, 'Lettre,' one letter to a page. These letters are repeated on each page along with abstract markings and/or a profile of a stylized face. After completion of the text, the page depicts a stylized frontal view of the face with different letters eminating from the area of the brain.
