Biography
Marjorie Lillibrige was born in 1928 and worked in Japan, Paraguay, and Liberia for the FBI and the State Department/United States Agency for International Development (USAID) from 1953 to 1961. In 1963 she she took a position as a secretary for historian Frances Parkinson Keyes on her European book tour for her book The Explorer. Keyes was a prolific author of magazine articles and books in the early 20th century writing about her early life and family in New England and later setting many of her books in Louisiana. From 1971 to 1983 Lilllibridge she served as assistant personnel director for Glacier National Park. Lillibridge died in 2000 in Tuscon, Arizona.
