This catalogue deals with an international book plate design contest to honor Paul Verlaine, the French poet. Albert Dupont won second place for his book-plate design in memory of Paul Verlaine. Depicts one of the self-portaits by Van Gogh but instead of impasto to create the image, Dupont uses different colored letters of the alphabet and overprints some sections.
