The worded photographs are contact prints that have been drawn upon in typical Gerlovin fashion. The red and black text and line drawings with thick pen strokes consist mostly of variations upon the accompanying photographic images. In addition, the text also includes concrete poems and manifestos. Several of the worded photographs have been released as individual prints in editions.
