The Thomas E. Corkhill Papers consists of a typewritten biography of Thomas E. Corkhill, Iowa Reform School ledger accounts and auditing report (1868-1874), certificates of appointment as trustee of Iowa Reform School (1878), land grants of 40 acres (1851 and 1854), Oskaloosa Daily Herald reprint article by Col. Swalm (1895), a holograph diary that lists wounded in Battle of Chickasaw Bayou and the Battle of Arkansas Post including visit to the Army of the Potomac (1863-1895), cd of holographic diary, and a copy of the Vicksburg Daily Citizen (1863).
