Many wine recipes, such as lemon, orange, ginger and other recipes, including instructions for making a quart of ink, for removing spots from silk, baked good, and jellies. There are fourteen recipes in the book, with the remainder of the pages blank. Laid in are letters, recipes for baked goods, instructions, incuding times for boiling different pieces of meat, roasting, and instructions for brewing beer.
