Volume 1: Looks like a published (or self published) cookbook, with recipes, includes funny notes and suggestions, as well as full page drawings, in a kind of fancy newspaper cartoon style. Recipes were beautifully handwritten and photocopied. Full color illustration for the cover, attributed to "Pat Bennett Brangle 1986" The cover is a colorful picture of a little girl standing on a stool to reach the pot on the stove.

Volume 2:Simular to above, but a mock up for a cookbook, with notes, pics pasted in, some finished pages, some blank with hand written descriptions, ect. Beautifully decorated. Copyright 2003 titled "The Comforts of Food"
