The Elizabeth Shaw papers date from 1958 to 1977 and measure 12.5 linear feet. The papers are arranged in two series: Topical files (arranged alphabetically) and Correspondence (sorted by year, then alphabetically). The topical files contain materials from many topics, ranging from abortion, coal mining, fair housing and immunization to massage parlors, optometry, pet care, school buses, and welfare costs.Two folders "Testing, Basic Skills, 1976 - 1977" were separated from the colleciton at the request of the donor in 1978.
