Scope and Contents
The poem reads, "in that narrative passage he sat dejected - the most literal of man alone - the cover man- he had compiled - the story man she had conceived with - rough materials. The man as photograph - the anal man of names - sidera sideri ning - the Journal man of the novel volume - only one half of the toge story - the man's man - time described." An image of the original drawing for this image is depicted in the book 'Art and Text' (2009) on page 250 that is held by the Sackner Archive.
