Scope and Contents
The envelope is a photocopied image of Marilyn Monroe with hand-colored additions. The stamp sheet consists of twenty grids of Cole's computer text and poetry. Its content refers to his medical condition and includes a handwritten line that reads, "as long as it all leads through art, I'll be okay." -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
