Discusses and depicts 64 bookbindings from eight bookbinders commissioned by the author for his collection. On pages 62 and 63, Van der Marck mentions how the Sackners introduced him to one of the binders, Timothy Ely, who had been his student at the University of Washington. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
