Scope and Contents
The initial 26 poems comprising, "Alpha Lace," consist of highly abstracted images of each letter of the alphabet formed by repetitively entwining each letter with another in varied fonts to achieve lace-like presentations. In other concrete poems, Hocker utilizes printed and mixtures of printed and handwritten words. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
