Scope and Contents

On the back cover and internet, it is stated that Yrik Max Valentonis is a writer and cartoonist who wanders through the urban landscape seeking out fairy circles. He makes puppets so other people can see his imaginary friends. He steals apples to justify his philosophy. His lovely wife is very good natured and humors him. His son is still young enough to not think him weird but his daughter is old enough to recognize just how weird he really is. Keep track of his activities at www.valentonis.com. Yrik says: "Images and writing have always been linked together in a typographical dance across a design layout. Metaphors bring out the poetry in all types of communication. The unexpected juxtapositions of imagery evoke new metaphors based on the reader's experiences. Images are the stage, words are the costume, language is the song -- then reading is the opera." -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
