Scope and Contents
The cover and title page depict a poem shaped like bars in a prison cell with the repeated words LA NUIT and the words "du prisonnier" in the middle. The book includes a reproduction of a Valentiner Hugo black and white portrait of Guy Levis-Mano. The name "Jean Garamond" printed on the cover as responsible for the images is a non-de-plume for Guy Levis-Mano.
