Scope and Contents
This is a facsimile reprint of Malevich's visual essay illustrating the major elements and paintings in suprematism, 1915 to 1920. It was originally lithographed from the stone on the art school presses of UNOVIS at Vitebsk in December 1920. The essay by Railings discusses the major stages of suprematism, based on Malevich's writings. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
