Scope and Contents
The first edition of this book was published in 1970.Wilipedia: Belonging to an important bourgeois family, was never interested in family economic interests and, on the contrary, supported by his mother, highly educated woman and a reader, bent by the intellectual. In 1933 he went to study English and Economics at the University of London, in England revived his interest in Catholicism and founded the magazine A new venture (1934), returned to Spain in 1935 to enroll at the Universidad Central de Madrid.After the Civil War , during which they suffered traumatic experiences, lived an active kind of internal exile in his modernist house in Pinar de Antequera (Valladolid), accompanied by his wife, surrendered to develop his poetry, true to the Vanguard historic and little publicized, which attest seventy titles containing the experimental poetry , visual and religious. This activity gives faith that he founded and directed no less than nine poetry magazines: Plateau (1928), Ddooss (1931), A new venture (1934), Song (1941), Mejana (1965), Yellow folders (1971) , White Binder (1975), Folders gray (1976), Green folders (1978). In 1989 he received the Award for Letters of Castile and Leon and the Gold Medal of the Fine de Madrid. The Leon Castilian Poetry Academy gave in 2000 an award for his body of work and in April 2002, just months before his death, he published his last book course ie Canto old age. In the three volumes of the Separate and Together. Collected Poems (1990), whose title refers to a verse of Fray Luis, is the edition of his poetry until 1990, documented edited by Antonio Piedra .In 1989 he received the Prize Castilla y Leon for Literature, in 1993 the Province of Valladolid Prize for his literary career, and in 1999 was honored at the First Conference on Latin American Poetry and the following year was named Favorite Son of Valladolid, Leon Castilian Academy Poetry gave him an award for his body of work and won the El Norte de Castilla by his literary career.Pino's poetry remained faithful to the Vanguards: graphic poetry including photographic and typographical poems, brackets and mosaics. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
