Scud was the acronym for the land to land missile launched by the Iraqis during the Gulf War 1991. In this booklet, Finlay provides alternate definitions from the dictionary in the form of a poetic metaphor. This is a 1991 limited edition cloisonné pin designed by Weiner, commissioned by the Peter Norton Family Foundation for use as an hors commerce holiday gift. The pin rests in a white (with red lettering) paper sliding matchbox-style enclosure, on a cotton cushion. The pin reads "Stars Don't Stand Still In The Sky For Anybody."
