Scope and Contents

The authors have taken the same brief dream-like story about a man or boy named Luis and re-created it in a series of urban rhythms and structures. According to text on the order card, letters, words, sentences, and black and white elements can be the building blocks of new parks and red-light districts, apartment and office buildings, stores and industrial centers, new city fringes and suburbs - a journey through typographical inner, intemediate and outer spaces. Although this book is designed in an exemplary manner, I did not find that their premise was supported by the images. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
