This book includes one fold-out page featuring anterior and posterior aspects of both lungs with collaged, color photographic reproductions, such as faces of children, a clothed body with an eye substituting for a face, and a snail shell. Its border consists of inked and acrylic painted, abstract, repetitive markings. Other images in the book often intermingle collaged and painted, realistic people and animals with Jackman's conjured, surrealistic creatures. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

Judith Hoffberg's essay is titled "Full of Elegance and Wit, Timeless yet Familiar: Unique Bookworks" from the writing of Robert Lax. She claims that artists books are not containers of ideas, but a consummate experience that challenge the reader and actively shape the reading experience. Scope and Contents The prints depict the same row or rows of the letter "O" in a different typefaces. The line of metal type to print these "O's" is also included in the portfolio. Iinternet: "Born in the Bronx, Mr. McCallion's first involvement with books was as an English literature major at Columbia. After graduating, he moved to the West Coast, earning an M.F.A. at Claremont Graduate University.
