Each print depicts a word in braille, e.g., music, light, blindness, colour, and poetry. The latter is printed as raised dots in the Braille language. The background for Musica is four stripes of greys simulating a musical score. Dots for the word Luce (light) appear to be illuminated in its print. In this book, Depew utilized a single woodcut square and progressively removed a increasing portion of it page by page so that by the end of the book only a small, irregularly shaped printed fragment remained.
