Venus Buddha Box / Al Hansen., 1992
The box is covered with crumpled paper and painted or drawn ink of repeated images of Hansen's Venus of Willendorf which appears to be floating in a sea of foam. The box contains a photograph of Hansen at his front door with a falling mail box. The drawing of a nude Venus is covered with a shaped plywood cutout.
