The two prints by Carlfriedrich Claus included in this portfolio are depicted and described on page 60 of Claus' "Das druckgraphische Werk." Claus also provided an introductory essay. The Werkman piece is a reproduction from an Issue of "Next Call" and the folded print reproduces the text and illustrations for "Explodity." This sophisticated children's book combines a conventional poem in French, a translation in Arabic and a multi-colored calligraphic interpretation by Koraichi. The poems were selected by Waciny Laredj and the conventional Arabic calligraphy was done by Ghani Alani.
