Scope and Contents Rava's paintings and sculptures combine numbers, mathematical symbols and Hebrew letters in landscapes, animal forms, forests, clocks and planetary designs among other subjects. This exhbition of works by Rava was curated by Maria Luisa Trevisan and travelled to four additional venues. Arturo Schwarz contributed an essay titled "Tobia Rava, that is, of the insatiable thirst for knowledge, of the uncontrollable communicative throb" and an indepth interview with the artist. It can be considered a 2nd revised edition of a book with a similar title pubished in 1973 that is also held by the Sackner Archive.Amazon.com: Franco Vaccari, born in Modena, Italy, in 1936, has shown his work at four Venice Biennales to date (1972, 1980, 1993 and 1995), the Centre Pompidou in Paris and P.S.1 in New York. He's also well known in Italy as a critic and author. Exhibitions in Real Time is the first monograph to assemble his recurring works of that title.
