Another record [Source Record Number Six] plays music by Alvin Currin on one side and Anna Lockwood on the other side. This issue depicts several electronic schematics for making music. Manford Eaton conributes an essay on Bio Music with the physiologic responses that include GSR, EKG, EEG, EMG, EOG, blood pressure and respiration. Syllabaire / Melin, Claude., 1977
The main image are two juxtaposed grids (5 x 11 & 2 x 11) of black and red inked ideograms with an interposed column of a micrographic calligraphic explanation. On the borders, Melin has drawn columns of music scores. This is the 4th printing of this book first published in 1977 with the title "Tuning of the World." A signed hard cover copy of the 1977 publication is held by the Sackner Archive. This book is illustrated with 5 designs by Mesens, the first of which is negativised for the translation, i.e. the French image is a negative of the English positive.
