This book consists of 12 critical texts about the life, art, and literary works by Gray as compiled and edited by Robert Crawford and Thom Nairn. The facing page of the title page depicts a self portrait drawing by Gray rendered in visual poet terms. This work by Wally Depew was designed by Linda Depew and issued in 26 lettered copies. The letter assignation was done on a post-it on the verso of the folder as well as on the colophon. The white paper assemblage was inserted into the junction for the fastening of the paper folder. Depew designated the works in this series as Artist's Photobooks.
