This essay attempts to define and clarify the role of the artist in the Postmodern and electronic art world. It is a matter of a heightened sensory cognition...Being an artist today is to offer a purposeful and deeply intuitive resistance to the enormous influx of cultural programming that has become an assumed liability on the information superhighway."
