Biography
The African-American Museum of Iowa (AAMI) is a statewide museum located in Cedar Rapids and dedicated to preserving, exhibiting, and teaching Iowa’s African American history. It was founded in 1993 by members of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. The AAMI hosts an annual History Makers Gala.
