The book object component of this work was made by Emile-Bernard-Souchiere and the prints and texts by Christian Gabriel Guez-Ricord. The texts are printed and handwritten on papier japon. The prints are also rendered on papier japon. These elements fit into the compartment at the bottom of the base of the book object. Fragmenterre consists of several stones, all made by Émile-Bernard Souchière, each featuring unpublished writing from a different author. The Sackner Archive currently has fragments 3 (C. T. Tsell), 4 (Christian Gabriel/le Guez-Ricord), 6 (Laurent Maublanc), and 8 (Patrick Chopon).

The sculpture consists of 13 interlocking, painted wooden rings which rest upon the book object base. The total number of copies of this book is unknown since the publishers make additional copies on order. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

The folded letters were printed in an edition of 650 in 1983-1991 and mailed to the Sackner Archive in separate envelopes by Edition Despalles, the distributor for Atelier des Grames, but the cassette that holds them is made upon request. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
