General

Free play time in the kindergarten room at Stewart School here offers the youngsters an opportunity for a variety of activities. A set of play kitchen appliances in Mrs. Robert Kiesey's kindergarten classroom is one of the newer additions of interest, especially to the young students. "Cooking up a storm" in the kindergarten dream kitchen, which includes a small-sized sink, refrigerator, and stove, is Lorie Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everette Miller. The three kindergarten students looking over the cooking skills of young Lorie are, from left, Lester Worley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Worley, Nancy Linch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Linch, and David Levy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marty Levy. During the free playtime, according to Mrs. Kiesey, the children have an opportunity to exchange ideas with their friends, cooperate with child-directed groups and to investigate the possibilities of the many available materials.; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rathmel were honored by the local Moose Lodge Monday night. The Rathmels will leave soon for Moosehaven, Florida, to make their home. They are the first Washingtonians to take up residence at this Moose-sponsored retirement home.; Junior High Football Team
