Arrived lantern was much dirtier than it appears in the photos which I cannot account for other than just good lighting in the photos or photoshop treatment maybe. The chain however, is exceptional. It goes from small twisted links, to fatter and larger, back down to small links. Excellent metal working. The lantern top itself is quite thin and cracked in places, perhaps because it was stepped on at some point. Inner metal ring and solder repair by someone on the underside of the top; additional local solder repairs by me. Very lightweight.
