A video (http://www.getty.edu/art/gettyguide/videoDetails?cat=2&segid=372) created by the J. Paul Getty Museum (1988) in which WA demonstrates sewing on signatures and other aspects of binding medieval manuscripts. Present here is a 96 page script, each page dated August 1988. Three pages, 54-56, concern "Binding the Manuscript" and refer to WA filmed sewing on sections. The video continues to be widely shown to explain the construction of early illuminated manuscripts.
