Abstract
The Ira H. Pierce Collection of History of Medicine Glass Slides consists of lantern slides from Professor Ira Pierce's "History of Medicine" course taught in the College of Medicine from 1938-1964. The slides span medical practices and notable doctors from prehistoric times through the early 20th century and were used in accompaniment to Pierce's lectures.
