Scope and Contents

The University of Iowa general catalog collection includes catalogs--also known as "calendars" or "bulletins"--from the University of Iowa and the State University of Iowa. Each catalog describes various information for university students, such departments and educational facilities (e.g., labs and libraries); faculty and staff, including university administrators; and course offerings and degree requirements from each major academic unit and for each area of study, respectively. Earlier catalogs also contain information about graduates and students of particular units.
