Biographical / Historical
Lilah B. Crum Terwilliger was a University of Iowa student from 1906-1911. She received her undergraduate degree in physics in 1910, and her masters in physics in 1911. While a student at the University of Iowa, Crum participated in a variety of activities, including being a member of the women's basketball team, the Phi Beta Kappa honorary society, and a the Octave Thanet Literary Society.
After graduating from the University of Iowa, Crum moved to Osage, Iowa, where she served as the principal of the local high school until she married in 1913.
