The Jennifer Baum papers date from 1973 to 1998 and measure two linear feet in five boxes. The collection is organized into three series: Correspondence, Diaries, and Photographs. The majority of the papers relate to Baum’s time spent living abroad. The Correspondence series (1982-1991) holds letters between Baum and her friends and family, focusing on her experiences in Taiwan and Hong Kong. The Diaries series (1973-1982) contain Baum’s detailed diaries, which she kept consistently for most of her teenage and early adult years. The diaries discuss her day-to-day life growing up in Iowa City. The Photographs series (1998) holds many pictures of Baum’s Irish Greyhounds. The collection is completed by several family trees of Baum's extended family.
