Includes photos of meetings of the National Black Catholic Congress, the Nathonal Council of Catholic Women (NCCW), and the Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women in Dubuque, Iowa. One group of unlabeled photos appears to document Pope John Paul II's meeting with Black Catholics in New Orleans in 1987; this assessment is based on identified images of that meeting from other sources, which appear to depict the same room and event as the relevant Nash photos (see, e.g., In a Word volume 40, number 9, November 2021).
