During World War II, he fell into Russian captivity. Throughout his life he was employed in various professions: from newspaper seller rags to foreign representatives for Rosenthal porcelain. Oliver Behnssen wrote lyrical texts and aphorisms. Since the 70s he was active in the Munich factory district. Member of the Association of German writers.
