According to Kent Taylor in a personal communication (1997) to the Sackners, this was d.a levy's first book. Further, he believes that "Dave" in the inscription was Dave Williams, a boy friend of Taylor's first wife, levy's cousin, Joan. More Withdrawed or Less, 1963
According to Kent Taylor in a personal communication (1997) to the Sackners, this was d.a levy's third book. The individual pages comprising the book are printed with different colored inks but all pages are the same dimensions. The cover is a light gray with the title printed on three lines. This is the first printing of the book. The Sackner Archive also holds the "second printing" of the book that has major differences in conten and layout. This second printing of the book differs greatly from the first printing and should probably be considered a revision. The Sackner Archive also holds the "first printing" of the book. The title is printed on a single line of the white paper cover in this version. This copy has a two duplicate prints entitled, "lakefront at night" which was a separate purchase in 1981.
