Old Fan of Visual Poetry, 1995
The photocopied print framed with a letraset outline of an opened fan depicts a Manet painting of three adults on a balcony with their faces partially obscured with white paint. A seated woman holds a closed fan. The fan, which is attached to the col tied string, is a commercial object made from painted brown wood and gold paper.
