Billera had a Cleveland radio program on WCLV and editied "Podium" in the mid-1960's. He committed suicide in 1981 in his sealed automobile with the motor running from carbon monoxide poisoning. The Sackner Archive also holds the 2nd edition published by Renegade Press. Jack Hirschman contriburtes an introductory essay describing Glik's poems and songs as personifying the creed of Partisans against Nazism particularly in Vilna , Lithuania. "When the news of the Waqrsaw Ghetto uprising reached the Vilna ghetto, it inspired Hirsh to write his famous song-poem "Zog Nit Keynmor (Don't Ever Say)"... In a short time and with amazing speed, Hirsh Glik's song became the anthem of the Resistance: It swept through the ghettos and camps and became known as "the Song of the Partisans." -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
