This collection is divided into three series. The first consists of all of courses he taught during his tenue as a professor at the University and the Senior Classes he taught after retiring. It contains course notes, syllabi, and other materials related to the course. The second series consists of his professional/academic writings. These include book drafts, notes, reviews, and articles written during his career. The final series consists of administrative paperwork and departmental issues during his time in the philosophy department. It includes correspondence, conferences, departmental topics, and personal papers. The collection spans the years 1960-2011.
