Some of these materials appear to be the copies that circulated in the Iowa Senate, as they are marked with an "Approved for Distribution" stamp with a name line; several anti-ERA materials are marked "Sen. E. Hill" (Eugene Hill was the only legislator to vote against Iowa's ratification of the ERA in 1972; he also called for recission of Iowa's ratification in 1975), while some pro-ERA materials are marked "Sen. Doderer" (Minnette Doderer was one of the co-sponsors of the 1972 ratification bill in the Iowa Senate).
